Join us for a jam-packed, uniquely northern BC tour of the once vibrant, now sadly non-existent “ghost towns” from Prince George to Penny aboard a VIA Rail train. On the train, you will retrace the old “Grand Trunk Pacific Railway” line along the Upper Fraser and learn about the once thriving towns from local author Ray Olson, a publisher of the book “Ghost Towns of the East Line”. Ray will be joining us for the entire tour and sharing his knowledge throughout.

After disembarking at the town Penny you will have a hearty lunch and tour of the area. You will then make you way to the banks of the mighty Fraser River and retrace the journey of hundreds of scows and sternwheelers that travelled the waters in the early 1900’s.  You will then board a jet boat down river through the historic Grand Canyon of the Fraser and learn about the history of this stunning geographical feature.  On the trip, you will learn about many of the East Line Ghost Towns as you journey down this magnificent river.  Space is very limited so do not delay in registering for a uniquely Northern BC Adventure!
