To support graduate students working on their thesis research, the NBCGSS has purchased some basic research equipment for use by graduate students at no charge. Currently, there are two DSS compatible digital voice recorders, an 8.0 Mega pixel digital camera, and a USB-connected transcription foot pedal available. Each of these devices connects to a PC to create a digital workflow.
- -Research equipment can be booked at the NBCGSS office in advance of use; contact the Office Administrator to reserve equipment.
- -A deposit is required prior to checking out equipment; the deposit will be refunded upon return of the equipment in good working order.
- -To ensure that students’ equipment reservations are respected, there is a late fee of $10.00 per day.
