There is a graduate student computer lab with restricted access located in the west wing of the Teaching and Learning Building (Building 10) in room 10 – 3032. This room is accessed by swiping your student card. To activate your card, go to the NBCGSS office (7 – 168) and speak with the Office Administrator who will provide you with the paperwork to make a request to UNBC Facilities. UNBC Facilities is responsible for completing the process of card activation.
Each semester you are eligible to receive 250 pages of free printing in the graduate computer lab only. In order to access free printing for the first time, you need to go to the NBCGSS office in-person and the Office Administrator will assign you a printing account code. You can reactivate your account every semester afterwards by emailing the Office Administrator and requesting your code be reset. If you run out of free printing during the semester, you can purchase additional printing for $10 for 250 pages. This is less than half the price of printing throughout UNBC (works out to 4 cents per page vs 10 cents per page through Papercut). Again, this is only for printing in the graduate computer lab.
This service is supported by the Office of Graduate Programs.
