Welcome to the website of the Agricultural Land Use Planning in Canada project.

We’ll be posting information about the project on this website as the project unfolds over the next three years (2012-2015).

The purpose of our research is to examine how the changing role and value of agriculture within Canadian society today might affect agricultural land use planning within and across national, provincial, and local jurisdictions.  This project is a three-year study with nine researchers from six universities across Canada and funded by a SSHRC Insight Grant.
